In Grinding Mode

Just wanted to pass along an update. I'll be done with grinding and cleanup of all the extended G3 Prybabies this morning including both the metric and American versions. Unfortunately the heat treater is closed all week next week so it will take some time to get these through the last steps. However, I have some other stuff to grind as well and so I'll have a really big batch of stuff to send to them by the end of next week. Will be lots of little things for December...

I'll get back to the sheaths in a few days as well, just as soon as this grinding session is out of the way. Also, the DLC stuff should be back by next week at the latest so there will be a bunch more of those pieces coming as well as the titanium Prybabies which should be back from tumbling any day now. So stay tuned for a mix of general releases and lotteries coming up in a few days.

Are any of your new ring tools (Just the ring and the bit receiver) in that batch? Cost? Thanks.

Yes!

The rings are definitely going to get made. Actually probably will be winter for those because I want to try the hardening treatment and it is going to take some time to coordinate everything. I have many projects going right now.

I'm new to Atwood gadgets, but I sure would like to get ahold of one to review on our blog!

Has there ever been a ti XL prybaby? Or does Ti not lend itself to that?

Yes, there were a couple of XL tibabies. It's really hard to do patterns on them though which is why there so few.

There will not be any XL tibabies this batch nor will there be an XLs in the upcoming extended length G3 Prybabies.

Thanks Peter, I was asking more just in general. But you raise another question. Does this mean the upcoming tibabies will be patterned?

I just don't yet what I will have time for.

It's taking forever to get my stuff back right now. The tumbler shop is closed for the week and I have no idea if the tibabies got shipped on Friday or not. If not, it will be sometime next week.

I'm very excited at the prospect of tibabies; it seems like we haven't seen them in a long time. Personally, I think I prefer the un-patterned, natural titanium look.
