How My Tool Sales Work

Hi Folks!

Just wanted to post a quick guide to let you know how my tool sales work. These days I make small to medium sized batches of tools and then post them on the blog when they are done. Because production time and batch size varies so much, those sales could occur once a week, twice a week, or perhaps several weeks could go by in between sales. I just never know how things will go so cannot give specific schedules for new releases.

When I post a sale I generally do a little write up of upcoming projects. Then I do a description of the item for sale. Underneath the description and above the photos I will post a Paypal Buy Now button. When the sale is over and the items are sold out, I remove that Paypal button, which is why you don't see any on there right now.

How will you know when I post a sale? The best thing is to cruise by periodically and see if there is anything new. I generally post sales between 9 AM and 12 noon eastern time. Sometimes sales are up for a while especially if the item is one that I have made previously and sold before. Other times they sell out very quickly especially if it is a special item or very small batch.

Other places where someone might post a head's up that a sale is live would include the Facebook groups Atwood Toolbook and A51-BST. I stopped doing Facebook a few years ago but I believe both groups are still active.

Some people subscribe to feeds or services which let them know if an update happens on the blog. I am fuzzy as to how that works but I know a bunch of folks use them.

I often have leftovers of more recent items and people are always welcome to drop me an email and see what I have on hand. lottagear2000-pp at yahoo dot com.

Thanks for stopping by, I always appreciate the interest in my work! :)
