Howdy Folks, and Happy Fall!
It's just lovely this week with comfortable daytime temps and cooler nights. The leaves have finally started turning everywhere and we are getting some spectacular shades of red and orange on the maples. You can hear them falling off the trees when it's quiet, along with a steady stream of acorns from the oaks. I am almost considering wearing a hard hat now because while was working in my garden over the weekend an acorn bonked me right on the head! That sucker hurt too.
Today I have another batch of Zirconium Mini 5 Flute beads for you. These are flame blackened and burnished to create a scratch resistant finish resembling polished hematite or obsidian, which will wear incredibly well for years to come. Truly one of the most durable finishes that can be created in a home shop without fancy industrial processes such as DLC.
