Termite

In heat treat now, the new Termite Tool. This is the latest in the Captive Tool Bit series. I decided to combine the best features of of the CTB style tools with my Micro Bug Out Bar to create a tiny 3 inch Prybar tool.I will have a small batch available and a release date of either this weekend or early next week.

Best of both worlds. I like it. Count me in. I think it would be cool if you did the first batch in a numbered edition.

nice design Peter!! very smooth! are you really done with the msopt's?

I have not stopped making the SOPTHings and MSOPTHings. I moved them off my front page so people will stop emailing me about them. I will make more but it won't be until next year probably.

So after carrying a mini keyton and a crawdaddy hanging on my leather jacket's shouder, now I'm determined to wear a Termite around my neck :D

I'll end up being struck by a lightning someday!

I like the termite... I definitely want one :))))

Hi,

any word if some whistles will make it back to the store this year? Did miss the fine knurl whistle while I was away and the price tag of the damascus whistle is to high for me. Tempting though!

Greetings from Germany

Peter, is it true that MSOP has been retired? If yes, then for for how long?

Woops I guess I didn't read the Blog Sorry

Termites. Who would've thought termites would look so cool! I much prefer these to those nasty bugs that I have to pay an exterminator to get rid of.

Very nice Peter!

Keep up the good work.

Trying to get to whistles in the next few days. I have a good sized batch of G2 Prybabies to grind and prepare for heat treat then I will tackle the remaining whistles. I have some stainless with rifle knurl and then a bunch of brass with rifle knurl and then more brass with diamond knurl if I remember correctly. I also have a bunch more ti whistles that I will probably do once these are all finished up.

Any way to pre-pay for one of these termites, or is it gonna be a free-for-all sellout an hour after they hit your website? :)

P7hvn,
Unless the rules have changed it will be a free for all and a guaranteed sell out you can bet.

WOW - Got scared when I didn't see SOPTHing on the sale's page. Panic attack that it has be retired. Glad to hear it will make a reapperance.

Whoooaaaaaa did you see that?
About an hour and half ago?
Did you see that lighting flash?
Oh never mind that was just the "Mini Keytons and Bottle Bugs" being snatched up like an Alien Abduction. Crazy fast.

Peter I have been a big fan and Atwood EDC guy for a while and I have to say I am REALLY excited about that Termite! I never use the can opener on my prybaby and a philips head screw driver is a must for my work. A must own item for sure.

Hey, that is brilliant! I LOVE that!! Peter, that is wicked cool!

Titanium Termites? That would be a sensational Idea.

gotta love :-( the mercenary spirit, there's already one up on eBay for 2x the price

item=170177568783

termites went up on the Atwood site on the 5th? 6th? eBay listing went up on the 10th...

sigh

Lot's of complaints about Ebay lately. The way I look at it I would rather get a stab at it on the web page, at Peters reasonable prices, rather than if they all went straight to Ebay. I saw what those knives did on Ebay and I can't afford a bidding war for every item I want. Just looking at it from another perspective.
