Hi Folks,
It's been a slow week for sales but a busy week for work as I continue to battle the onslaught of winter and work on the next tools to get them into the heat treat pipeline. Poltergeists will be on deck for middle of March. In the meantime I'm also dealing with tendonitis in my left hand so that's slowing me down a bit especially for knot tying.
Anyway, I did manage to get some of the new CrocoNut Wrench tools done. They are stonewashed .160 thick CPM S35VN steel and I did not do any stamped ones or anything else special with this batch, they are just simple and sturdy. Open jaw sizes are 1/4-9/16" and closed hex sizes are 1/4-7/16", overall length of the tool is 4 3/8". These will be $65 plus shipping and the link is below:
First Wave is Sold Out, more are coming though. Thank you! :)

Yay, I got one! Peter,i f you are struggling tying all the knots, I am sure we could all tie our own. Especially if it meant that you could make more tools :)
Well lookie what I foumd!
Solid looking tool!
Peter, Can you give a brief description of CPM S35VN vs. S35V and S30V etc. Just trying to understand the properties of the steel a little more.
Good Stuff!
These look great! Other than my archaic lawn tractor, everything I own uses metric sizes. Any plans to offer a non-US version in the future? I love the double-header I got last year.
There is no S35V I found out...I had it wrong, it is S35VN apparently which I found out when I went to order more of it this week. :) It is a lot stronger than the older S30v so good for prying. A small amount of niobium gives it that stength apparently. Also slightly more corrosion resistant. And more expensive! :D
Umm, could be but I haven't gotten that far yet. ;)
The force was strong in me today, scored a new Atwood! Thanks Peter!
REI had some cool 1/8 cord (400lb) in several colors so that will be fun to play with.
Must NOT click BUY..Looks nice, although I'll have to pass on this one.
Have to renew my passport for an upcoming trip.
Love the notches for the grip, I hope you keep using it on more of your tools.
looks great! how different in size are they from the lock nut monster/double headers?
Just a tiny bit shorter than the LNMonster.
Awesome! Love the size. This may replace my beloved Funnybone!
Had to shut down the computer in order to pass this up just could'nt swing it at this time! Looks good though!! Maybe some other time! Nice job like the edge cutouts! +++ Peter! Gary :>)
Sweet! I got one too - hope the wife doesn't kill me :o
I really like the design in these. I've got to quit sleeping all day though! I hope to see some side by side pics on the forums soon.
Good looking new tools Peter. Sorry to hear about the tendinitis, hopefully it starts to feel better soon.
The CrocoNut made it here today! WOW, Peter, that is a great design, I think I see room for it on the Pan-Head's key ring, as the ol' harley is always loosing parts.
I hope for a metric version for the Victory soon????
cheers!
Just got mine, love it! Much more substantial than i thought, for some reason...
Now i want one with a stamp on it!
