Hey, so I was hoping those Poltergeists would be back from heat treat by now but for some reason these guys are dragging their feet. That means they will not be back to me until Monday at the earliest but more likely later on next week.
Now, next week I am taking some days off, probably the whole week in fact. I'm having my gall bladder out. It's an outpatient laproscopic surgery and really shouldn't be too big of a deal but I'll be sore and doped up for a couple of days at least. Maybe by the weekend I'll be back on my feet and moving forward.
The great news is, I have just a ton of stuff going so the middle and latter part of April is going to be crazy crazy busy. Those who have been wanting G5 Prybabies will not be left out because there are three whole batches in the works. Probably will be May on those but they are certainly on the way. Also, Poltergeists and mini Poltergeists in large quantities and the E115 tool. And the titanium Poltergeists and mini Poltergeists have also been started. I'm contemplating some Gasbabies too.
The Dace knives are on hold indefinitely. I had some production difficulties but I'm still hopeful that the batch can be saved. I'm looking at my options and I think there's a way to get them finished to my satisfaction eventually but don't hold your breath on them.

Gallbladder, eh? Good luck.
Good Luck on your surgery and speedy recovery!
Is this an April Fool's joke? No, just kidding, or not.
I'm sure you will be fine with the operation. as for the delay in Poltergeists I can only hope that this is a April fools joke!!!!!!!
I hope the surgery goes well, take enough time to recover Peter!!
To bad about the Dace, was looking forward to it.
Have you made your mind up about which tool(s) you going to rerun somewhere in the future?
Maybe Some Old Pry Thing..(Cryptic)

MSOPT ;)
Peter,
Here's wishing you an uneventful procedure and a speedy recovery.
Best wishes,
--Shay
Believe me, I sure do wish it was a joke but I'm sure I'll do fine without my gallbladder. Thanks for the good wishes!
No more MSOPThings but an updated Gasbaby is a likely candidate for older tool reissue.
Peter, Keep a notepad nearby while you're "doped up"... who knows what ideas might materialize that you'll want to remember. Get recovered, rested, and recharged. We'll be here when you get back.
Good luck with the surgery. Take it easy and don't rush things. Stay safe!
Despite being much less of a major surgery than in the old days, don't expect to be feeling up to stuff in less than 10 days. It may take less, but that's really not the rule.
Who needs a gallbladder anyway? :p
I wish you a safe and speedy recovery

I am desperate to get one of the mini poltergeists for my son's high school graduation (woo hoo!), to replace the ghost I gave him for Christmas that was subsequently stolen. *sigh*
Best of luck with the surgery. It's amazing what doctors can do though tiny little incisions these days.
Good luck with the surgery Peter, here's to a speedy recovery.

Peter,
Good luck to you with the operation.
Please don't hesitate to give me shout out if there's anything you need whilst you're recovering.
Well.. a set back like this may afford you some time catch up on some reading or sorting thru some film that I am sure is piling up everywhere.
I am sure you are looking forward to having this all behind you.
Be well.

Good to hear Peter. I hope it's not the pain-killers talking!
Do we get "scar pictures"? :p

Great!

Peter, I'm glad everything went well!
Glad you're doing great! Don't rush things just take your time and get to feeling 100%!! Gary :>)
I hope you have a speedy and painless recovery. It may be weird, but you can expect to have some general body aches, shoulder pains etc. Some of the general body aches and fatigue can be from the anesthesia. Netherless, if its laproscopic, the incision should be minimal with [if any stitches at all], they would probably just use steri-strips, which are like stitch tape/suture tape/ like medical duct tape to hold the incision together. And they may have you wearing some funky tight stockings to prevent clots. But hopefully it should be a breeze for you, and that they manage any and all pain you have. [I have been through a lot of surgeries since age 10, and went into nursing so I "kind" of know. I will admit experiences are different for everyone]. So I raise my coffee glass for hopes that you come out of this better and with minimal pain/issues.
Hey Peter,
I hope you are doing well! You mention a run of Gasbabies. Can I wish for a batch of thin titanium Gasbabies with slightly thicker stock (like used on the Ti rulers)? :D
Could be Rick. I'll look at my ti stock and see what I have.
