Attention Newbies! :)

Hi Folks,

Every week I get at least one or more emails asking me if I can sign someone up for my sales. Old timers know what is going on but new people who stumble upon my site are often slower to understand my sales model.

Here is how my sales work:

1. If the batch is large I post a link from Planet Pocket Tool to a sale page on atwoodknives.com. The page is invisible to casual visitors to the website and can only be accessed through the blog posting. When the sale is over I remove the link.

2. If the sale is for One of a Kind or limited edition type items where there are only a few available (such as knives) I post a Sign Up Sale on the blog. When the Sign Up Sale is over I remove the sign up link and pick the Sign Up Sale winners.

3. I sell items directly to customers via email now and again. If I have something in stock I'm happy to sell it to you anytime, just email me.

Agreed Jerry. Now if people will only read it. ;)

@Noonan -- what are you saying? People haven't been rushing over to the "How can I buy an Atwood Tool" link?

given the number of those "how do I get one?; what time are the sales?; how come they sold out?" questions, apparently not Jerry! I will admit to doing the sale as a noob about a year ago.

Don't forget with option number one, you have to keep hitting refresh every 2 minutes, as the items are generally sold out within 20 ;)

Have to say it's well worth it though, I love my G3 Prybaby!

It's not as hard as all that to get "an Atwood", at least in my experience. It's when you have a particular variety or sort of tool he's made in mind though that it's an entirely different story. ;)

Peter,

I would really like to purchase that damascus solar arc on your website, but there does not seem to be a link to put it in a shopping cart. Could I just send you a check, and have you mail it to me? LOL
