By the time this gets a response they will be sold out, but will the anodized surface be damaged by keys etc., i.e. for a keyring is a plain tool a much better idea?
The bead blasted matte surface is not as scratch resistant as stonewashed underlying surface. But it is still surprisingly long lasting if you take a little care with it.
Most of the first rainbows had a hybrid finish, blasted then scotchbrite so it's in between in durability. Later in that same wave I had run out so I did up a few more to finish the orders and those are stonewashed underneath the color.
Being that I am not around a computer during the day, I didn't think I'd ever get one of your tools Peter. Thanks so much for the late in the day sale! I just scored my first Atwood!
Wow. Just got my Ti Perfbaby (plain) in the mail. When I picked up the envelope, I thought it was empty, it was so light. It's a beautiful tool. Think I'll go open a bottle...
Are you serious gerber? I think gerber is missing the point of why peter's tools are in such high demand. They'll provide little to no competition to the Atwood market.
Gerber even had the audacity to say "Perhaps the most simply designed tool on the planet." You have got to be kidding me!!!! Their tool looks like it was picked out of the scrap bin in Peter's shop.
Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, this will only enhance the demand for Peter's creations. We all recognize the quality and creativity that Peter puts into his tools
I just received the new Greeny. It feels quite light in the hand yet seems very strong. I think it looks even better than the photo; it's more of a muted gray-green than the somewhat bright color I see on my monitor. Thanks, Peter!
Just got plain TI Prybaby this morning. Love it! Thanks Peter! Strong full size tool.... almost weightless and looks fantastic. Are perforated Ti minis in the plans? I am sure this will be another hit.
Got my green Perfy! What a nice first Atwood tool this is. I will be using it to open some brews this afternoon while I watch the Packers. Very cool little item.
A while ago you had made mention of some little Ti keyfobs you were working on as well, but I haven't seen or heard anything about them in a long time. Any thoughts on when we might see some of those things around?
Hey Peter..love my rainbow perfie..works great on the Sam Adams I had this weekend! Since I'm new to this obsession I'm wondering if whistles are a thing of the past, or might there be some in the future. The secondary market is way out of hand. Thanks again.

Man Peter, those are nice!
I'll just have to stick to the plain.
Never would have thought that the green would have turned out as well as they did in the picture
Thank goodness for random clicking. They look great. Man, this is quickly becoming an obsession.
got 1, thanks
Scored one, these are unique! I can only imagine the weight or lack there of on these swiss cheese tools.
Cool I like this one. I think I will pick one up for sure! Keep em coming!

Couldn't pass one of these up...the Ti looks thick.
You staying up past your bed time Peter?
I can't remember a later sale than this one.
Hopefully those who live in different time zones will have a chance at some of these.
Are the rainbow/plain models stonewashed then? As opposed to being bead blasted?
Late night offering... Very Nice. I couldn't resist. I have officially started my Christmas shopping now.
Thanks for feeding my addiction Peter!
No measurements on the purchase page; going by recent posts, are these 2-1/2" long, 3/4" wide and 3/16" thick?
Are they Titanium?

LOL, yeah they're titanium!
3/16 thick, 3 1/8" long, 1 inch wide. These are the Original Full Sized Prybabies but thicker.

These came out awesome Peter. It's crazy how light they are.
Peter, thats huge, I did'nt realize they were that big! Awesome!!! Can't wait for it to arrive!
The green anodized Perfies look great with the blasted finish. Plain blasted ones next? ;D
Rick, you're aiming too low. You know we're all waiting for the DLC plated perfbabies (extra grinds woudl be nice, too, but optional) :p
Hey Joel,
Those would be nice options. I'm just happy to be able to get an Atwood these days!
Got my Greenie... Very nice ... THanks Peter
I want to see some black perfies!

Yeah, I saw that on uncrate.com and went "hmmmmm" looks like someone's taking notice of your tools P! Too bad for them theirs are ugly lol
Dear Gerber,
Scumbag move.
I know you went downhill about 20 years ago but getting back on top starts with your own ideas. You can't steal your way to the top.
I can't believe Gerber is trying to cash in on your designs. That's weak!

not to mention it's ugly as sin, as is their other atwood copy the artifact

Still waiting on my plain........
Got my greenie. Wow, this is paper light. Too cool. IIRC, Peter mentioned that this isn't too scratch resistant. Is that right?
Just got plain TI Prybaby this morning. Love it! Thanks Peter! Strong full size tool.... almost weightless and looks fantastic.

Mark
And yeah, extra thickness on those Ti Babies is a nice touch!
Mark
Trick or treat, Peter -- where's our Halloween goodies? :)
Got my Greenie, very nicely done :)
Have to pick up my plain perf from the post office tomorrow. Thanks for insuring it Peter, it would have sat in the mailbox all day ungaurded.
Take care

Whistles are a thing of the past I'm afraid. I'd never say never but it is doubtful I will make them again.
