Stonewashed Original Minis

Happy Wednesday!

I have just two dozen of these Original Mini Prybabies available in stonewashed finish. There are a few more coming but they will be bead blasted. Anyway, because there are only a handful I'm limiting it to one per customer please. They are $45 plus shipping.

Sold Out! Thank you folks.

I can't believe it. I caught it in time but passed on it. Scored a Mini Plus so I just couldn't justify it. Oh how I wish I caught the Chigger sale instead...

No worries, bunch more Chiggers are coming!

Any lotteries coming soon?

"Are they gonna come with Blood red anodizing?"

very cool idea ;)

Yes, but I'm going to change the name to Sign Up Sale. Technically a lottery is something you have to pay to enter and for a chance to win. It's a stupid word to describe what I've been doing which is really just a free to enter drawing for the opportunity to buy. So to avoid confusion I'm going to call it something completely different, a Sign Up Sale, because that's what it is.

You can't anodize steel, only titanium. Titanium does not anodize red.

Peter, is there an area that further explains different finishes you have? ie:stonewash, bead blast, ... I just got the stonewashed chigger and I understand what it looks like, but the process explained? I've been scouring your site lately, loved the tutorials, and just want more? I see myself getting a little addicted to your gadgets!

A surprise attack! I checked a couple times this morning. Went to lunch. Came back and BAM - gone. Good news is...I got my Chigger in the mail today!!!! Had to open a beer just to test the bottle opener feature...at least sign up sale evens the odds for those of us with ADD.

Amen to an ADD solution!

Stonewashed means it went through a rock tumbler basically. Bead blasted means it went through a sand blasting cabinet. It takes a while to recognize the different surface treatments and understand the differences.

One of my older finishes was done by bead blasting the piece then I used scotchbrite to bring it up to a dull shine. I called that my Antique Satin finish. I don't do it much anymore though because it's a bunch of work.
