Tipplers

Alrighty then, finally got some Tipplers done! These are single shot sized glasses, basically the same capacity as a standard shot glass. They weigh in at a hefty 4.3 ozs so not quite as heavy as the BigShots but still substantial for their size. The diameter is 1.5" and the height is 2.25". They have been professionally passivated (acid cleaned) to remove surface iron and sulfur. Most of them have light beauty marks of one sort or another which seems to be unavoidable with this kind of machine turned product but certainly nothing objectionable. Dishwasher safe and made to last virtually forever. :)

The Tipplers have a bit more complex shape compared to the BigShots so they take longer to turn and mill. With less material but more machine time they end up costing me the same to make and so they are priced the same as their larger counterparts at $55 plus shipping.

Sold Out for now, thank you!

Love this photo, particularly the setting. Any chance for a photo of all the iterations (Big Shot, Dot Shot, Plain Dot and Tippler?)

I've been waiting for these! They turned out great and really do look like the cylinder from a revolver!

Any eta on the Wingnuts?

I HATE Paypal, it won't accept my credit card. I guess no Tipplers for me! Peter please have an optional payment method. Thank you.

Excellent! Been waiting for this one. Any plans for a variation like you did for the Bigshots?

Peter,
Thanks for the offer, I was able to log in to Paypal finally. Whew! I didn't want to miss this sale. I hope you would still consider another payment option, Paypal is anti-everything etc.

Thanks Mark.

I'm somewhat disappointed the sale happened while I was at work. I've been watching and waiting now for a week. Are you going to be making more anytime soon?

Peter Atwood said...

I have to finish packaging up the orders from today which I will do in the morning. I probably have 30 or 40 left but I won't know until tomorrow. You can always email me.

This is just the first wave of these folks. More of these will be coming in a couple of weeks as well.

Mmmm...a pocket tool is the last "must" for my keychain. A Ti G3 or G4 would be lovely.

Peter Atwood said...

Sorry, no ti Nibbles! :p

I had less of the Tipplers than I thought so these are all gone for now. They will run more for me in a couple of weeks.

Peter Atwood said...

Just got word that more TIpplers are running right now and so by end of next week I should have the next wave ready. Thanks folks and hope everyone has a safe and hopefully dry weekend! :)

Me, I'm still working on my ark since it just won't seem to stop with the friggin rain here. It has literally rained every day for the past month and no end in sight.

Your customer service is excellent, Peter! You are a busy guy, it's great to see you actually communicating with your customers/fans ;) I have yet to purchase any of your creations, but only because I just found you today. Love it all. Keep up the good work.

Peter,

Clean your basement shop out of any finished or near finished Atwood tools and knives, before the shop floods from all of the rain
--Best wishes for a sunny dry summer!

They will run Tipplers for a few more days and then by end of next week will start another small wave of BigShots, probably some Originals and some more DotShots with knurling.

Better late than never. I found one on Ebay at a reasonable price (For Ebay). I'm sure it will be great, like my other Atwood tools.
