The first wave of SuperBugs are done. I have quite a few of these and will be cleaning and assembling more over the next day or two.
SuperBugs are made of 5/32 S30v steel. I'm sure the various functions are obvious and familiar to Atwood fans. :) No plans for a ti version right now but who knows?
I found a neat little bee or fly image amongst my old jeweler's stamps and just had to include it on the tool. These rare metal stamps are from the 1800's and I think it's so cool to be able to create a bridge between the centuries this way. Plus given my output of energy this past month the bee seemed more than appropriate!
SuperBugs will be $50 plus shipping. I had 10 lefties but they are all gone, thanks.
These are gone for now but I have many many more coming in a day or so. Thanks folks!

Oh how I want one of those...
Great work Peter. I truly love the little bee too!!
As much as I really want to, I am going to have to pass as I have spent way too much this month already. :(
Perhaps, I can find one on the aftermarket at a later date.
Great work as always Peter.
Mr. Bug you will be missed.
Peter - you are awesome. Sick as a dog, but relentlessly churning out these stunning tools...
So pleased to have got my hands on a Superbug!
Looks like I managed to order one, looking forward to getting my first Atwood :-)
These look great Peter! I love the left hand gring idea and the bee!
There's a lot of great stuff coming out of your workshop again these days, and well, I tried to resist for too long already,....this is first Atwood of '09.
I was wondering when we'd start seeing those stamps you collected....very cool!
I've been pretty lucky this year so far. I haven't missed too many tools.
Thanks Peter!
Wow, perfect timing. Just last night I was showing a friend the rulers and superbugs on the site and he asked me to get him one, too! Not sure he was expecting it so soon!
Thanks, Peter!
Easiest purchase yet of an Atwood. Turned on the computer this morning, and there they were! Great way to start the day. Love the bee...
I love the stamp, these turned out great!
Glad to see you are feeling better. I got mine. Any plans on dlc superbugs?
Did I luck out and get one lefty?
Yes Jerry, I have to start processing the orders shortly. Overwhelming response on these!
Yahoo!! My first one...and I love the bee stamp. Great way to start the day.
...I only hope your day started with feeling better?
Joe
Not sure if I got one, followed the link as fast as possible.
Thanks Peter!
Dangit! I'm in school, and I missed 'em. Aarrghhh!!!
They are very very cool.
These are beautiful. This is the one that I've really been waiting for. Great work. The bee stamp is an awesome touch.
I'm glad you feeling better Peter.
Beautiful Bug! had to pass, i'm broke /cry
PS; I received my ruler today, it's even cooler then I thought it would be, brilliant stuff!!
Man, those went quick and I missed them. Will be watching eagerly for the next ones.
I can't wait for the castle stamp
lol - collecting Atwood pieces was hard enough. With different runs of stamps? Nigh impossible.
I see where I missed out on the first run; I have a friend attending Mechanical Engineering school for his Ph.D. I do believe this would be the best gift any engineer could get!
I'd like to get on the waiting list for one.
Peter doesn't keep "waiting lists". If I recall correctly, he tried to a few years back but it became cumbersome to maintain the list.
I mean, if there were a waiting list, all the rest of us would be on there already. :-)
You can also buy other Atwood pieces online through various forums and EBay - that's probably your easiest way of snagging one. Check out his website for an idea your options to look for.
Spring time is looking pretty good on the Planet. Great stuff from that Atwood guy ;)
Peter, when will we see some lotteries for some special stuff? Its been a while for one of those.
Pretty soon Matt. I'm trying to get through these huge batches of stuff first.
Does "big batches" include the fixer?
mmm. fixer sounds yummy. :)
I'll bite - fixer?
*CATCH* :P

Grim look here. 3rd picture down. The drawing on the paper.

Now I think of it, any metric fixers among them??
We europeans have not much use for the Imperial versions :/
No, I'm afraid not, just Imperial sizes. I actually cut these last summer and am just now getting around to finishing them. Still a ways off because I have to make sheaths now and sharpen them. There are a ton of them too.
I really hope you will be making more metric tools...
Liberia,Myanmar and USA are the only 3 countries in the world with Imperial system.
Got my SuperBug today....Fabulous!
This is my first Atwood, and I am quite pleased...to say the least.
I used to be a "pocket-fulla" guy...but for the last several I've only carried my car key (leave the house open), and that's it. Amazingly, the SuperBug feels right-a-home next in the empty pocket nextdoor... a "keeper"
Thanks Peter, Great work!
Joe
Peter, any idea how much the Fixer might be?
Got my SuperBug today and it is incredible! I expected the scale to be similar to the Shiner, but it is nicely smaller. To anyone who didn't get in the first wave, this one is a keeper!
Peter, got the Superbug today its terrific now waiting for The Fixer!! P.S. I like the Bee :P
