Well, the weather forecast looks a bit ugly today so I'm going to sneak this sale in early and hope that I get all the labels done before we may have to shut down the computers or possibly lose power. Supposed to be severe thunderstorms with high winds but we'll see...so far we have been really lucky this year, unlike in years past.
As you all know, I spend a lot of time coming up with new product ideas and this is one that I have been mulling over for a long time. I'm happy to finally bring it into reality. The concept is very simple and I think the solution is quite elegant. I wanted an easy and unobtrusive way to carry extra 1/4" hex bits and this method came to mind. The BitBucket is 2.5" long by 1/2" diameter container, same size as my whistles and the ribbed design is very similar. Two standard 1 inch long hex bits will fit inside and they are retained with a #1 NiteIze S-biner clip for easy on and off access. Or you can put the BitBucket directly onto your keyring although the bits are then not as easy to get to.
At any rate, the aluminum BitBuckets are anodized with a warm bronzy gunmetal colored finish and are supplied with #1 and #2 phillips bits and a black S-biner clip. Of course you could put any bits you want in there ranging from torx to metric (4mm and 5mm bike) to any of a multitude of specialty bits that are available through a simple internet search. The first wave of these is aluminum but there will be another wave of aluminum ones up the road in a different anodized color. And there are titanium BitBuckets being turned right now. Perhaps a few others may show up in other materials as well.
BitBuckets run $55 plus shipping and the link is below. If you don't see the link that means that the sale is over and they are sold out. Thanks again for stopping in folks and hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!
BitBuckets are Sold Out for now, thank you again!

Thanks Peter!!
Yay, Bitbuckets, now that makes sense! So clever, thanks Peter!
Great Idea..But 17 min too late for me.
Please make a wider one for a fancy pill container I can wear on a necklace or keychain. And I'd like to get one without missing 30 second sales. Thanks
Great Idea..But 17 min too late for me.
It was longer than 30 seconds. At least 48 seconds :-)
THIS has been missing from my EDC. First purchase direct, and couldn't be happier! Thanks
These are sweet looking Peter. Can't wait for the Ti!
What a useful Item. This has to be in the top 10. Keep those gears Turning Peter.
Really like the Stamp on the bottom.
Peter, Maybe you could make the bitbucket and the whistle as one, the bitwhistle. Got a bitbucket, made it in time. Thank You
Those are freakin sweet Peter. I can see everyone with a BitBucket on their keychain now!
Im bummed I missed this, Peter! But two questions (1) is this merely a container for bits or can it be used to drive bits, too? (2) is this the super secret mystery tool that we heard about earlier or is that still to come?
these look cool but it would be even cooler if you had a 1/4 inch opening on it so you can use the bits you had stored!
That's a good looking gadget - will be keeping my eyes peeled for the next round!
This is for bit storage only. Up the road I might do one that will also drive bits but I have not gotten that far yet. SSMT is still in the works, hope to see them done this year, but who knows.
Love this new design! Been looking for similar to carry firemaking tools...if you're looking for other ideas :-)
Any possibility of any prybaby's coming in the next waves? That G3 PB just looks like a dream come true for tightening nuts on the fly!!
This is really, really awesome...I just missed it yesterday, and was kicking myself all day. Perfect design, and really couldn't be any better.
What a good looking keyfob
I guess the wait during August was totally worth it !
