Brass Whistles

Hi Everyone,

I have just two dozen of these today. I will have another big batch of them in about two weeks so no worries if you wanted one and miss out this time. They are $45 plus shipping, same as the stainless ones. I do have a few more stainless at this time too so if you want one of those please email me.

All gone, thank you very much!

I'll also be doing bronze whistles in two weeks so there will be yet another variation coming. I do not know yet about pricing on bronze as it is fairly expensive. It should be interesting material though and I've always wanted to check it out. I may do a few bronze Lanslides as well depending on time. They also said they would try a green G10 whistle but there is no guarantee at all that it will be possible. I still have a few dozen titanium whistles here btw, that are waiting to get cleaned up and put together and a bunch of stainless also. In addition to cleanup steps I'm also waiting on more inserts for them.

I'm almost done with putting together the Lock Nut Monsters! Poltergeists will head to heat treat this weekend. Dace knives went to heat treat already, will be lucky if they are done before the holidays however. SnakeBites will be coming towards the end of this month! Larva will be getting milled in about a week or two, hoping for an early November finish. G5 Prybabies are still sitting there waiting for me to start sanding and do the surface grinding, probably looking at late November or December for those. Hoping to do the last few dozen Mini Brewdrivers before the holidays as well.

That's the tentative schedule above...we'll see if I can crank all this out or not. It's a lot to juggle but I'm trying! :)

Thanks a bunch for the update! It looks like you are juggling a huge variety of toys. A bunch of us out here are really appreciative of the effort you devote to all of this diversity. It kills us to have to pick and choose to such a degree, but it's also really cool of you too.

Thanks guys! This was just a micro batch. I will have some very large batches coming in about two weeks so no worries! OK? :)

I need to look into the properties of bronze. Might make for a cool keychain whistle.

This will be aluminum bronze.

You're keeping my g10 whistle hopes alive! Thanks Peter!

Aluminum Bronze.. learn something new every day. Until just now, I always thought garden variety copper and tin with maybe a little phosphorus was the only type.

Oh no.... missed them again :((((

I would have loved so much adding a brass whistle to my steel and my titanium ones.

Amen to that... What is gone is gone :/

Good deal. These should look great as they age & develop a patina.

I keep missing the brass whistles!

Can't wait for the next batch, I need one to go on my other key chain as the first key chain already has the stainless steel one on it and I need to tell them apart.
