Happy Tuesday!
Today I have some of the 303 stainless steel whistles ready to go. I'm still working on titanium ones too but waiting for more inserts for them...but in the meantime I was able to complete these stainless pieces. This is only the first wave of them and there will be at least a couple more waves to go so no worries, many are in the pipeline and it will take me awhile to get them all cleaned up and put together. I should have some whistles of one kind or another on hand for at least a month or two so anyone who missed out can email me and I'll be able to hook them up.
Brass whistles are running either today or tomorrow so I will have those done in a few days. There will NOT be any damascus whistles in this run but I "might" have another surprise or two in the material department so stay tuned.
Stainless and brass whistles will run $45 plus shipping. International will go via Priority so you folks overseas can breathe a little easier. :)
First Wave Sold Out, thank you! I will finish many more of these in the coming days. I appreciate everyone stopping by this evening. :)

...a whistle, finally(and I didn't have to pay $200.oo! Thanks Peter
Peter, awesome work again. These whistles look very nice in stainless steel.
Got one! Can't wait to test it out.
YES,
Thank You Peter!!!
Scored big today!!
Missed all the Ti ones...
Good things do come to those who wait...
Good luck to everyone!!
I got one too!
Hey Peter, These look great! finally scored a stainless and I'm keeping an eye out for brass.
How are the slotted Lanslides looking? I keep checking last months sales to make sure I didn't miss another run.
Thanks James! Slotted Lanslides...I never really made enough for a regular sale so all of them have trickled out the door via email. I still have a couple of them left if you want to email me.
Hmm not damascus but another interesting material, what could it be? Does Talonite make any sense for a whistle? Non corrosive would be a plus I guess but I imagine it would be tricky to drill out? Bronze or Silver maybe?
mokume gane? one can hope....
timascus??? that would be so insane!!
No no no, you guys are way off base. :p. Bronze is one and then they were going to possibly try one in G10 to see what happens but no idea if it will turn or explode...
Haha, I was thinking two tone g10 for this whistle design would look good, I've heard it can be hard to work with and the dust can be brutal, stay safe!
Just think everyone a safety orange Atwood whistle to match your orange knives and lights!
LOL, actually the color available in 1/2" round is a pale semi translucent green. Would look pretty cool with a black insert stuffed in there. Not sure if it is turnable though...we tried carbon fiber a few years ago with the last whistles and the bar just blew up.
G10 would be cool if it works out!
Wow. That translucent jade like G10 would be killer! I'd take one, especially if the price would be similar to the SS model.
I just received my SS whistle today and I have to say WOW. Fine craftsmanship as always Peter and I really liked the picture you sent along with it as a bonus.
Received the whistle last night. Great craftsmanship as usual Peter. Thanks for the included eye candy photograph. Really hoping the G10 whistles pan out. Maybe G11, which is much harder would turn well?
Just got my SS whistle and I have to say - I love it more the Ti one, I guess weight makes all the difference.
I hope I get lucky enough to get a brass whistle. I was able to get a rainbow Ti but I'd give it up for a brass one.
I know handcrafted things are the best, but what is it about these whistles that make them cost so much? I seen a stainless one on Ebay going for $122.
