Fixer Sign Up Sale

So, at long last I have gotten some Fixers done. I have 18 of them sheathed up and sharpened. These compact S30v neck knives are made of 5/32" stock and feature six SAE wrench sizes in the handle (designed to be used with the knife in the sheath), a 1/4" hex opening whose main purpose on this tool is to aid in sheath retention and a small 1 3/8" cutting edge. The Fixers are $145 each plus shipping and this sign up sale will run until 7 PM eastern time tonight, March 7th at which point the winning numbers will be drawn. As always, thank you all for your interest and support!

Sale is over, winners will be announced shortly. Thanks to everyone who signed up!

These are very nice Peter. It's a bummer that there's no lefty grind (yet!). Good luck to all that sign up!

Aren't these already lefty grinds? For knives this small I don't think it matters much which side is ground, so the left side grind is used mainly for aesthetic reasons. Well that's the word on Emersons at least iirc.

Exactly. And I sharpen the blade on both sides so it matters even less.

Ahh...the blade is ground on both sides? Aesthetic reasons aside, if one is not a left handed person, one would think that it shouldn't matter. It does. Imagine everything that is done the right handed way being backwards to you. It would be a big deal then. So a lefty grind is NOT mainly for aesthetic reasons only. I guess I just missed the picture or description showing the grind on both sides for this tool.

Technically it is a lefty grind, the bevel is up when held in the left hand; the cut is away from the body. It is not a chisel grind because Peter sharpens both sides... :)
