Adventures in Micro Manufacturing with Knife and Tool Maker Peter Atwood
Dang, you're an early riser....can't you sleep in like the rest of us?;-)
Wooo! Nibbles!Glad this was a big batch and I managed to catch one, I was hoping to score one of these, they look like great users! thanks Peter!
My three and one year old decided to sleep in til 6:30. Argh, missed again. At least I'm rested. Glad to see this piece getting made. Hope you get some rest too.
There are more and also a lot more are in the works...just email me.
hi peter, you mean you still have more nibbles in stock and we can order by email? My sharktooth needs a sister badly :D
I only have a couple left...for folks who missed out and still want one, a much larger batch is coming in about 1-2 weeks. That's one of the things I've been working on all this week. They are nearly ready for heat treat.
It's always hard to say when I will have stuff to put on. If there is anything finished and ready to go during the week I usually put them on in the early to mid afternoon. If I have stuff on Saturdays I try to do it first thing in the morning so I can get to the post office which closes at noon on the weekend. But I can never stick to a hard and fast schedule because my life just doesn't seem to work out that way.Lately things go so fast that I have to keep a close eye on the site while I'm having a sale so I don't oversell what I have. So that means I have to set aside a morning or an afternoon to babysit the sale and prepare packages to mail, etc.
Thanks Peter,You do great! Your fan base is increasing daily! It will be hard pleasing everybody. ;)I have a brushed Nibble that I love. The Nibble is one of my favorite tools you have made. Nice work!
These Nibbles are awesome. Hopefully I can score on in 1-2 weeks when the rest of the batch is ready.DavidR
Peter, please do post some photos of the funnybone and your screwdriver idea. I can't wait to see them!
