Hi Peter,

Is it just a trick of the photo, or does the Nibble look as big or bigger than the Sharkbite?

It's just a trick of perspective. The Nibble is exactly the same size as the SharkBite but shorter.

Actually I lied, not EXACTLY the same size because I fooled with the bottle opener and made it 5/16" instead of 1/4". I'm finding that the slightly larger size makes for an improved cap lifter. Anyway, I think I redrew the lines in there a bit too so that now the pry tip may be just a tad broader and that is also giving an illusion that the tool is bigger than it is.

I love the progression from the Bike Tool to the Shark Bite to the Nibble.

The design is brilliant and it's just so darn pretty!

A cool tool, as always. But it doesn't seem to differentiate itself enough from the sharkbite for anyone (collectors aside) to need/want both. From a naming perspective it seems more like a sharkbite variant than it's own tool, much like the v-notch vs. flat, or area51 vs. regular variants of some of the other tools.

That said, if I had to choose one of the two, I'd probably go for the nibble.

Thanks peter!

yeah, at first i was having problems with the size also. but just looked back, and it's much easier to tell the difference when you know what the difference is.

still, with the dimensional changes and perspective trick it almost looks like a fat shark bite.

i like! :D

also, peter, i put a link on my new blog for your blog and site. just a little thanks for making such wonderful tools!

Sweet!

Been hitting the site since the Bike Tool design discussions. I still havn't managed to hit it at the magic time required to actually purchase anything.... but someday I'll time it right and get all three tools!

I LOVE the Nibble design! It's *exactly* what I pictured as the improved Sharkbite. Hooray!

I was hoping it would be real little... Maybe the Nibblet will be tiny.

Its funny, alot of stuff I want bigger versions of, and I was hoping for a tiny nibble. I confuse myself sometimes.

I think it is great. Maybe you could give us a complete top down perspective of them.

There's a limit as to how small you can go and still make the bit fit inside it. Trust me, these are smaller than the SharkBite. :)
