If you want to keep yours in your pocket and get it all banged up and scratched with the other crap you have in there with it, go ahead. But no need to slight others that find it quicker / handier / better to wear around their neck with a neck sheath.

@HighSpeedTROUBLE, I want a sheath for my wild card so I can carry it outside of my wallet. Was it difficult/expensive to acquire all the necessary materials to make? I've watched Peter's video on the subject but I'm looking for more info on how to do at home.
@sashner -- Yes. It cost quite a little bit upfront in order to get the tools/materials to make them. I ended up getting a proper heat gun (Dewalt brand, after reading great reviews on it), several different size drill bits, several 1' x 1' sheets of Kydex (different colors), a grommet set (still need to get the right size), and a few TekLoks...
It ended up costing several hundred bucks, but much of that was the heat gun. I think the materials were about $120 shipped.
Or I could just make one for you for about $10 + shipping. :-) It's fun to do it yourself though, I reckon. Just don't get the kydex too hot or it'll give you a headache (literally)...or, it gives me one, anyway...

@knogis: Uhhh...it's so you can wear it on a cord around your neck and have quick, easy access to it without having to take it off your neck.
