Well, by a small miracle I finally have some stuff ready to go. Shiners came back from heat treat yesterday and my fingers are sore today from all the O rings and lanyard tying. But I have about half of them ready to go right now. :)
Shiners are made of CPM S30v steel, 5/32 thick, 3.25" OAL. These simple little keyfob tools feature a screwdriver tip, bottle opener, 1/4" hex drive opening and thick rubber O rings for a secure grip. They run $45 each plus shipping.
Sold Out, thanks.

Got one! Thanks Peter, these are really neat for an avid fisherman an collector of unique tools. I may put treble hooks on it and try it out on Lake Cumberland!
Those look really neat, but they don't do much my trusty atwrench doesn't and I'm a bit short on change at the moment. Guess I'll pass.
I was going to try to hold out for Superbugs and shot glasses, but I couldn't resist. Have to get me a shiner.
Hi Peter,
Do you know when the MicroSpuds will be ready? They look perfect for a paracord marlinspike...

I just got the Superbugs back from first tumble yesterday. They will have to be touched up on the tips and name stamped then will go out to heat treat. Probably get them done over the weekend and send out Monday.
MicroSpuds are in heat treat this morning. Probably be a week or so on them.
Wow, was I lagging on this one. :) Got it in time though. Whew.
Thanks Peter
Unfortunately, a lot of us must be on the same page. The shiners are nifty little tools, but with BigShots and Superbugs coming up, I think I'll leave these to the real collectors.
Microspuds will not have a sharp enough point to be a marlin spike. However, I am toying with the idea of doing a marlin spike tool. Not at all definite but it "could" happen.
Hey there! have you any idea of the price on the superbugs? im thinking of one of each but im running a bit low already..
Superbugs are going to be $45 as well.
A marlin spike tool would be great. A friend made me a titanium one and I use it all the time. It is great for paracord projects. I'd love to have a another marlin spike tool with a knurled body to use on the cord to finish after melting it.
Really looking forward to the Superbug, hope I don't miss it.
Oh it will be almost impossible to miss them. I made LOTS. ;)
All, I have to say is WOOT!!!
I guess seeing these little guys only leaves me with one question. When do we get a golf tool?
I've looked into that a little and research continues. ;)
Golf tool? haha! I'm glad I'm not alone! ;P
Hark! Is that a canary in the coalmine I hear? :D :P
lol! Still singing! ;P
I am glad to see the talk of the golf tools. Peter it looks like you have more golf nuts than you think.
How did I miss these!! I sleep for 7 hrs and the fish monger is wiped out!
Ok ok, bring on the next batch!!
Thanks Peter!!
Golf tool
Titanium or Steel,
Divot Replacer/prytool on one end
Magnetic or O ring Placement for a Sweet looking Ball Marker
Bottle opener with, hex tool and bit holder.
Holy Moly that would be the sweetest freaken tool!!!
Sounds like we need an Atwood golf tool thread on one of the forums. ;)
Rick, I second that.
Morning Peter, Should I hang out by my computer today?
You know Peter, you are making many people happy with lots this big :) You rock!!!
Very nice to see these make it out
Peter, you have an ETA on the MicroSpuds yet?
I'm hoping MicroSpuds will be back from heat treat this week. I really never know though because their schedule varies and right now they are extremely busy.
Shiner is a great tool.
Do Not pass this one up when next batch is offered...
Great work!
Thanks Peter!

Hi Peter, first timer here...
I'm very taken by the MicroSpuds.
Sounds like there should be plenty to go around? Any tips on making sure I get one? ....looks like a great one to start a collection with!
Joe
Missed these because I was out of town. Will there be a second round, or was this the full batch?
I do have more so just email me, peter(at)atwoodknives.com
thanks, Peter! Email sent.
I like the Shiner more than I thought I would. From the pictures, I was dubious at first, but still curious so I ordered one. In person it is a nice weight and size, at least for my hands. Great job Peter, once again. Thanks!

Woo Hoo. Can't wait for mine to arrive. :)
Peter, I would like to have that shiny surface finish on my Shiner like G4 Prybabies and Christmas Keytons have had. Can I achieve it simply by polishing with sandpaper and ScotchBrite pad? Or is it more complicated process?
It is done by tumbling in a finer media and you really can't get anything quite like that at home. They were supposed to finish them that way but there was a miscommunication. Hopefully it is straightened out and I'll be getting that semi polished finish on the next items. They called me today to confirm that that is what I wanted on the MicroSpuds...
I can't decide which finish I like better. I really like them both. :D
The shiner looks like a really nice tool sorry I missed it.
I have more, just email me. :)
A Shiner sold on Ebay, it went for less than $45 dollars... :) I'm glad, tired of people "buying and flipping" Atwood stuff. I haven't won a lottery yet, I'm waiting on the "fixer".
