Happy Friday AtPeople! :D

It's been a long week... My cold has been lingering, I bought a new vehicle, projects are being worked on, etc, etc, etc. It's all good though.

Anyway, today I have the rest of the S30v FunnyBones. These have a bead blasted finish and are $50 plus shipping.

Sold Out, thanks!

  6. Dang, missed that one! Totally unrelated. For anyone who missed out on a G3 Steel Prybaby a while back, I have one for sale. Only offering on this blog. Got it for a friend who backed out. Refuse to try and gouge people on eBay. Offering it $72 just to cover my costs of insured shipping and paypal.
    If interested, email to mike1n@cox.net

  7. I traded my 2003 Dakota which was very much a basic work truck for a Kia Soul. I got the ! model with the sunroof, a feature that I have ALWAYS wanted. What a fun little ride. And the color kills me, Alien Green. :)

It's fairly practical and comes with a ton of neat features for a very reasonable price. Mileage wise it is no Toyota Prius but it will be a lot better than my V6 pickup. I like the lines on it too, kinda reminds me of some kind of crazy Atwood tool. :D

  8. Looks like I was late to the party again! If any other collector who got one is interested in trading for a mini prybaby (xl or original) please let me know. I'd rather not pay the premiums of ebay.

  9. Peter,
Thanks again for the email today, good luck with the new ride! It's always enjoyable to be in something fresh and new.

  11. Pneumo here again. I didnt think about how to notify that it was gone. I already have 3 interested buyers. Pretty sure they won't all fall through, so until further notice. G3 Prybaby is gone.

Thanks much - now what is my next Pocket Tool? Any comment Peter?

  12. I had never heard of the Kia Soul. Had to look it up. Pretty cool little ride... It does have a lot of features. Sun roof looked pretty cool in the pictures. But aren't you going to miss having a truck? I think I would... :-)

  13. Yes, but if they were making a truck I wanted to buy I would have bought it. But they aren't. I don't want a 90 foot long bohometh with a turning radius of 550 feet. I don't need an extra cab and four doors.

Every single truck with the exception of the Ford Ranger is now huge. And there were no Rangers on the lots around here to even look at. The base model Tacoma comes with nothing and you can't get any options for it. I wanted four wheel drive, they offer manual only, no automatics in foru wheel drive anymore. I wanted bucket seats instead of the bench, no can do. Everything is geared so that if you want a little bit nicer package suddenly it's 27K. Well screw that noise.

  14. Can you tell I'm a little pissed about the trucks? :D I've been a truck guy since 1990 but I just can't believe that you no longer can buy a small truck that is nice. That is something that has changed just in the last six years. I would have bought another Dakota since I've had two in a row but I think the new body style is ugly and once again, they have eliminated the regular cab model.

  15. Mahindra is now selling small 4x4 pick-ups in the US. probably pretty cheap, but no idea what their reliability would be.

my wife drives a Kia Sorento and loves it.

  16. Wow... i had no idea that the truck market had changed that much... throw in a pushy salesman and it must have been an adventure looking for a new vehicle... but then I'm still driving my 1997 Ford truck so I haven't really looked in a while... :-)

  19. LOL, when it comes to cars I'm cheap. The trouble with cars for me is that they aren't small enough to fit in my pocket. ;P

I honestly don't know what is coming next. I'm working on titanium perforated Prybabies right now but it will be a week or a week and half before they are ready. I will see what else I can get to though in the meantime.
