Atwrenches

Atwrenches are back in stock. :) I have several waves of them to get through over the next few days. Other things will follow soon too...

  1. Managed to secure one Atwrench with Tiki Grind. Thanks Peter. Looking forwards to the prybabies.

  2. It feels wrong to have Atwood stuff for sale and not buy any of it...but I already have a tiki Atwrench! I feel so conflicted. Could a person have too many of the same tool? My pilot father-in-law say redundancy is the key to happiness.

About to pull the trigger on a back up to my backup of my glow dot Atwrench...AA should stand for Atwoodites Anonymous. Sigh...

  3. Oh, almost bought an Atwrench, had filled out the order and was about to "Buy Now" when I thought about it and held off; I want the G3 Prybaby and will have to control myself until they are available. I go agree with Greg from Oregon, AA should stand for Atwoodites Anonymous.

  4. Can't pull the trigger either. Have with and without tiki, but no v notch... what to do...

  5. I have a lot of these still. I made a really really really big batch. Also have some with glow dots that I'll try to get to in the next few days and about 40 without the V notches.

  6. Ugh I wanted one, but there was some bs problem with my paypal account and by the time I resolved it they were sold out... hopefully I'll be able to catch one of the following batches.

  7. Oh not hardly...I still have many. I'm just taking a break until tomorrow to catch up processing all the orders from this afternoon. You can always email me too... ;)

  8. Peter,

I've a question, of all your creations (tools), which do you find you most often carry on you and use? Also, which has the most sentimental value for you?

  9. Thanks for the update! Yey, I had been waiting for this batch!

  10. The most exciting to me is the latest one. :) Right now I have a G3 Prybaby and an Atwrench with tiki grinds and glow dot. See the post below for a current pic of my keys. The G3 is in my coin pocket.

I think the G2 Gasbaby with the raw bar texture is my favorite tool in a lot of ways.

  11. Heck I'd take anything in raw bar texture...Stamp Atwood on some scraps haha.

  12. I am so fucking sick of never being able to get anything of yours.

  13. Well then why don't you just email me? For god's sake I usually have stuff you guys. Even if it's just a Prybaby or two kicking around...

  14. Peter, the G3 prybaby and atwrench V-notch looks similar, what are the differences?

P.S. Do you open the sales around the same time last? I am over the other side of the world and it was past midnight here when I got the atwrench, worth the wait IMO.....

  15. Yes they are very similar tools. There's almost no difference except one looks a little more like a standard G series Prybaby. That's why I'm saying, no worries, I have LOTS of these coming. I've just spent weeks grinding tools and now they will be trickling out of heat treat so I can finish them. EVERYONE will be able to get something here. I would be very surprised if anyone can complain after this month is over that they could never ever ever get something. ;)

The sales are all over the place. I'll try to do some early morning ones soon and some evening. Sat and Sun are good days to check as well. It's whenever I get enough stuff together and have the energy to deal with it. :)

  16. Good advice on all counts. I've emailed Peter in the past when a sale had ended and found that he had what I wanted and was willing to sell me one (or more). If I didn't already have two of this type of Atwrench I'd be all over sending him an email to ask for one. I've always liked the V-notch and think it migt even go well on the Nibble.

I have to agree as well on the G2 Gasbaby with the raw bar texture. I was lucky enough to get one of these when they were available and it's by far my favorite Atwood tool that I've ever owned. I wish more of this stuff could be available but I guess it's super rare for it to come out looking that nice so it usually ends up getting ground off. Personally, I think that if it looked even half that nice it would still be awesome!

  17. Peter, you mentioned the most exciting of your creations (tools) is the latest one. Are you referring to the G3 Prybaby or have you already come up with another latest?

  18. I've been checking the Availables' page very occasionally during these last month, and I often saw items In Stock. I did not buy any of those since I have now a rather "heavy" collection of Peter's stuff, but I can confirm that it is not so hard to find tools available. Atwrenches are currently for sale as I'm writing this post, for example, so I cannot really understand some people's anger for not getting any...

  19. A little reminder that Mr. Atwood is a one man show, and the hunt is what makes his items so damn desirable. Imagine if Peter had stock of everithing he makes all year long , we would be up to our noses in stuff, and the fun and the i-need-too-have-that factor would be over...

  20. I'm sure you covered it somewhere, but I can't find it: what are the different wrench sizes that this tool covers?

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Seven sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8".

The new G3s have the same size range in the first wave. The second wave will have one less size because I took out the 5/8" so that I could tweak the wrench teeth. I extended the teeth a little bit so that they will have more contact with the hex head.

  22. I just received my Atwrench! It is as great as I imagined. Thank you.
