Hey Folks,
Well, my computer is back up and I think I'm oriented enough on the new operating system to attempt a sale this evening. We'll see how I'm able to keep up.
I have a few of the G5 Roid Prybabies(R) done today. These are massive, and at .285" the thickest ones I've ever done. The thick tool steel is a bit gnarly so expect a few stray machine marks here and there. I had some difficulties with the tumbling so I decided to bead blast this batch to even them out cosmetically. There are still more to go so there will be another sale later this week as well.
The G5 Roids are $75 plus shipping....the batch is small so these will be one per customer please. Thanks for your patience everyone!
Sold Out for now, thank you so much!
These look great, still holding out for something pointy
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting back up. What was the name of the finish on the first batch of ROIDs?
ReplyDeleteI will also let everyone else have a chance at one of these. I am waiting for a steeal beaded item myself.
ReplyDeleteGot one, woohoo!
ReplyDeleteA bit pricy, but I love the design. If only they were raw bar finish...
Thanks!
Still waiting for Raw Bar Roids! Sweet Bead Blast though!
ReplyDeleteDamn that was a fast one. Glad I got one.
ReplyDeleteDoh! Missed them!! Maybe next batch? BTW, Peter, any chance we'll see some Raw Bar Pests in the near future?
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, I really appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteJerry, the first batch was just stonewashed but they turned out shinier.
There won't be any raw bar ones because the steel was smooth.
No, I'm afraid not, all the Pests were just average steel so they all got surface ground. Raw bar pieces are fairly rare because most sheets of steel are too smooth and even when I do get a textured sheet usually only a portion of it has heavy enough texture to save. It's tedious to go through them and try to pick out the ones that are the least scratched, etc and where texture is evenly distributed enough to where they make the Raw Bar Cut.
ReplyDeleteGonna need some reinforced pockets to carry this monster :-) Sorry I missed these - nice work Peter.
ReplyDeleteFlat G5 Prybaby this week? Any word on the G2 Roid Keytons? Thanks Gary :>)
ReplyDeleteG2 Roid Keyton mid January...flat G5 Prybabies possibly this weekend but more likely early next week. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I have seen a bead blast Atwood before. How will the finish wear in over time?
ReplyDeleteProbably just proving I am a noob.
Oh no, I missed them.
ReplyDeleteArrgghhh, I missed out on it.....wow congrats to whoever was able to get one.
ReplyDeleteHey Peter. What you say there will be another sale later this week, do you mean of Roids or were you referring to the Landslides from today? I'm hoping to pick up one of these as an Xmas gift and trying to figure out if I'll have another chance or need to start looking for something else. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes, there is another small batch of G5 Roids coming as soon as I get them bead blasted, possibly tomorrow or Saturday. Also coming are more 5 rib Lanslides next week but in stainless steel and titanium Swinger tools as well. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI check this site EVERY day for a chance to buy a cool new toy, but EVERY time I get home, and the new items have been posted, they're all gone.
ReplyDeleteMakes me a sad panda. lol Cool stuff goes fast... and apparently, I need to check from my phone, too.
I prefer to give my money to small businesses, so I'll keep trying over buying from Ebay.
But, I might have to give in to the devil and snag something from them to tide me over. :/
