Happy Black Friday Folks!
I'm gearing up for a busy couple of weeks with many batches of items in the queue for finishing. Today I have a wave of Pests ready to go. These are made of substantial 5/32" thick S30v steel with a smooth stonewashed finish and are my simple and elegant nod to the classic pocket screwdrivers of the past. The Pests run $50 plus shipping. Thank you for stopping in and hope everyone has a relaxing and stress free weekend ahead!
First Wave of Steel Pests Sold Out for now! Thank you!
I ALREADY HAVE ONE OF THESE PESKY CRITTERS,AND LIKE ALL OF YOUR OTHER CREATIONS,I LOVE IT. I JUST WANTED TO COMMEND YOU ON YOUR CHOICE OF ADULT BEVERAGES,AND IT INSPIRED ME TO TRY OUT MY OWN "PEST" ON SAID BEVERAGE.AND YES IT WORKS TO PERFECTION !!!!!
ReplyDelete+1 on the your choice of beverages!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, as a former homebrewer I tend to like malty beers with a lot of flavor. I'll drink most anything if it is good, domestic or imported. Not as big of a fan of hops as some people though so I usually steer clear of IPAs and barleywines.
ReplyDeleteWhere are all those shoppers? 9:15 Pacific and still available, amazing. I'm content with my Ti pest so I'll leave one more available. Recieved my steel Bookie, sweet little blade, love it. Thanks Peter.
ReplyDeleteYes it is a Pest. Must be a trick of perspective. ;)
ReplyDeleteGoing to pass though it pains me sorely ! Spent to much on tools and flashlights recently ! They look great ... good luck people.
ReplyDeleteSpaten is unlucky for me. It was the beer in my hand the time I got arrested for drinking in public. (D'oh!)
ReplyDeleteI'm psyched to pick up one of these. What's the approximate hardness on the S30V?
D'oh! Rockwell is 57-59.
ReplyDeleteOOPS!!! THE FETCHING MRS. STEVE IS PURSING HER LIPS AND STARING AT HER WATCH.FIRST I WAS ON DUTY LAST NIGHT,SO THIS IS "MY" AFTERNOON, AND SECONDLY, I INNOCENTLY POINTED TO YOUR BLOG AS MY INSPIRATION :)
ReplyDeleteI can finally stop "biting my nails" waiting for the steel pests to arrive. My wonderful wife refreshed the blog page and purchased while I was unavailable at work. I am a Pest fanatic... plain Ti, green Ti, UV Ti, Blue "bee stamped" Ti, and now steel. Perfect for opening a Spaten!
ReplyDeleteNext wave coming soonish?
ReplyDeleteI am truly heartbroken today. Had to pass on this one because of the light holiday budget. I Luckily have a Ti Pest to console me. Peter, do you foresee any steel Pests after the new year. This is a fantastic design! Sure would like to score one of these beauties down the road.
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few more coming this weekend. One guy can only do so much in one day though. ;)
