Hi All,
I have a few more WingNuts completed. These are 5/32 thick S30v steel, 4 inches long. They are SAE wrench sizes and feature 1/4"-9/16" in both open and close configurations. Changes from last year's batch include beefier open end wrench teeth, larger lanyard hole and elimination of the front end grinds in favor of thicker wrench teeth. They have a cool antique Stone Aged finish that makes them look like something your grandfather handed down to you.
Sold out until I get more finished, thank you!
Nice to see a purchase link! I've already have a Wingnut so will pass! Good luck to all!!!! Gary :>)
ReplyDeletePeter:
ReplyDeleteI like the beefier Atwood stamp. And, I am thumbs up on the re-design. They look good.

Whoa, I happen to see this. I have a similar tool already, so good luck to the buyers.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! stopped by hoping to see a green mini BrewDriver, and bam a Wingnut! This is one I've been looking for, I think I will use it a lot at work. Thanks Peter!
ReplyDeleteI really hope I don't regret passing on this, but I'm holding out for a tool with O2 wrench. My "discretionary budget" isn't quite big enough for both. They look really cool though
ReplyDeleteNo worries, there are three tools coming in March that have O2 wrenches.
ReplyDeleteWe wanna cut ourselves once in a while too sir. :P
ReplyDeletePeter glad to hear about the tools coming in March!!!!! Any chance of a hint or sketch what these might look like? Most likely will be lucky to be able to afford only one of these(still no job!) and would like to make the best choice! Thanks Gary :>)...
ReplyDeleteThese look great! I really like the design. As usual, I'm holding out on a Metric version, and if there's one with the Duck or Owl stamp, count me in!
ReplyDeleteAnother rainy day, another Atwood gadget...Dig it.
ReplyDeleteI really hope I don't regret passing on this, but I'm holding out for a new "superbug", good luck to the buyers.
ReplyDeletenabbed one! Thanks Peter!

Awesome my first Atwood, they look great, been following your work while now. Never managed to pick up the tool due to time difference. Cant wait to receive it.
ReplyDeleteCool! My second Atwood in a week! I'm hooked now!
ReplyDeleteI think this is my first tool that has no bottle opener! Can't wait to get it to figure out a way lol
ReplyDeleteAny chance you could give us all a brief progress report update? Wroach? Flea?
ReplyDeleteVery nice approach in regards to the redesigned WingNut, looking forward to it.

Yes, I just finished my taxes today so now I'm free to get some work done.
ReplyDeleteI have the remaining WingNuts ready and will do a sale very soon. The Fixers are sitting here with sheaths but I need to sharpen them. The Flea has been renamed the Ghost and I have a small number of them with raw bar finish at heat treat right now, will possibly have them later this week. The remaining LARGE batch is almost done and ready to start tumbling, heat treat etc so will be a few weeks. The Wroach is a long ways off still since they need to be milled and the whole finishing process. G2 Superbugs are maybe three weeks away from completion with a very small number coming this week with raw bar finish. My buddy at the machine shop screwed me up with the remaining Mini BrewDrivers because he decided to knock off and do another project rather than finishing mine but he should be back on them this week.
Enough of an update for ya? :D :P
Is anyone else having issues with Peter's tools rusting? If so, suggestions on removing rust?
ReplyDeleteThe Ghost, Huh... What is going on deep in the woods of Turners Falls?! I like it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, we all have some tools to look forward to this month.
My WN landed yesterday and I must say this thing is way cool!
..what is raw bar finish, no smoothness to the surface..? Anyone..?
Any chances of tekloks with the Fixers?
