  4. Yep, you caught him. It is a big publicity stunt. Instead of just going and selling them to the first person who asks for the same money as he gets for them if it wasn't by lottery he spend hours dreaming this up - suckered his wife into writing the code and carefully decided timing to run the scam. Just to build anticipation. Or maybe he emailed all of us individually to let us know about the scam and he put the whole thing together just to repeatedly piss you off.

  5. Hi Peter,

Awesome release this weekend. I'm sorry I missed it. When you say you have more coming up this week, I assume that you are not referring to MBOBs as you said these werethe very last.

Any hints as to what is coming up?

  6. That is correct, no more MBOBlades. I do have more knives coming though. MSOPTHINGs, SOPTHINGs, BOBlades and eventually Sumos. Also the last of the Boogers, maybe 24 total of those and they will all be DLC coated... This is all stuff that has been sitting around for as much as two years and I will be slowly finishing them over the next two months or so.

In the meantime I am working on getting some larger batches done so I can have some regular releases. I have some smallish batches of Titanium G3 Prybabies, some plain ti G2 Prybabies, the S30v extended G3 Prybabies in both metric and American and titanium Atwrenches.

And I am planning a special batch of 316 stainless steel tools, probably the ring tools and maybe some other stuff. I'm looking into checking out a special hardening process for those, same as the Sinn watch company uses.

  8. Any chance of some lefty variants of the Prybabies coming up. I would kill for a lefty ti G2.

  9. I did not do any lefty tibabies...

  10. Hi Peter,

I just received my first of hopefully many Atwood tools. I see you are going to do a general release of some. How will these work? Will I be able to purchase them directly from your site?

    Thanks

  11. Tegimented tools? Wow. Now that's something that should be able to take a real beating.

  12. Right. When I actually have a large enough batch of something to do a general release I will be announcing here on the blog and posting a link to a buy now page on my site. Lately I have been concentrating on very small numbers of items, mostly knives, which is why everything has been by lottery. But I will have bigger batches of tools coming along pretty soon and they will be offered via a general release sale.

  13. Tegimented is a just made up word that Sinn uses for their marketing. I have a big list of terms that I came up with to describe the process and will make a decision eventually on what I want to call it. I'm still exploring the possibilities of this and where exactly I would want to use it. It is not something that would be useful for edged tools but I might be able to use it for a Prybaby type of tool, we shall see. I like the fact that I could make a line of truly stainless steel tools though.
