Good morning folks. I have finished a batch of titanium FunnyBones and they have been anodized with the intense and popular ultraviolet color. These are the last of them and I probably won't make more of these in titanium or even steel. If I do revive the FunnyBone tools it will probably be in a longer version with pry tips as a new Bug Out Bar type of tool.
Sold Out! Thanks very much folks, I appreciate it. :)
Wow, beautiful Peter. I'll pass on this one, because I have an Atwrench already, which has been GREAT for minor adjustments on my motorcyle in a pinch. I can't wait for some more edged tools. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'd just like to say 'Thanks' for selling some of the batches directly while using the lottery method for others. The variety makes for a nice change of pace.
ReplyDeleteMy first "Atwood"!! I think this is the top of a slippery slope! Looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteAlready have my Funnybone, so I'm passing to allow someone else to get one. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI didn't spot a international shipping option with these, what's up with that?!
ReplyDeleteI forgot about international shipping! Sorry about that...I have a couple of these in reserve so just give me a holler...thanks.
ReplyDeletejust got my first Atwood
ReplyDeleteI agree. Thanks for doing some releases the fair way with the "Buy Now" button. I had a chance to buy one of these, but passed to let others have a chance.
ReplyDeleteThat Bug Out Bar version sounds great!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's all pie in the sky. I have not drawn anything yet, just one of the many ideas knocking around in my noggin. :D
ReplyDeleteWow, I was able to get one. This is great and its nice to see that people who already had one declined so others could benefit. Well Done!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear a few people were able to get their first Atwood today, and a pretty cool one at that. Congrats guys!
ReplyDeleteThis was also my first one, although I'm trying to rapidly expand my collection, just having difficulty locating everything I want, as I'm sure many are.
ReplyDeletePeter your tools are awsome and you will always be a gadget/tool master in my Book.
ReplyDeleteThanks for everything,
Hi, I just received the Atwood FunnyBone that I bought from this batch of UV Titanium FunnyBones and my question for Peter is: Why does the enclosed card say "Made of Crucible's CPM S30V premium cutlery steel.... Titanium version also available." I tried to reach you via email with no luck. I thought I would try here to reach you here. Do I have a Titanium FunnyBone or not? If I do, would you please send me the correct description card? Thanks! This is what I received.
ReplyDeleteTerry, that IS the correct description card. Yes it IS titanium. I only made one card for the FunnyBones. I probably should have said "made of S30v OR titanium but instead I put the tagline at the end.
ReplyDeleteHi Peter, thanks for the reply. I hope I didn't sound too disgruntled. I really do like my FunnyBone! I just didn't want confusion if I ever had to sell it and someone asked me why the card says steel. :) Thanks for the great work on the UV Titanium FunnyBones.
ReplyDeleteNo problem, ti is the only common metal that will take a color like that so I didn't think that it was a big deal to make a whole new card for it.
