In the weeks ahead this is what I have planned:
BugBites
Flat Ti Gasbabies
G2 Gasbabies
Crawdaddies
Bermuda Triangles
Triangle+
A51 Keytons (small batch)
Also a few new things are in the works, one is a SharkBite variant and the other a brand new tool with a cutting edge.
I'll be grinding for a few days so there won't be much action on the Available Tools page.
"a brand new tool with a cutting edge"-->YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope some of the new things are NOT the captive tool bit series. O-rings are the devils work and the bane of life itself
ReplyDeleteSorry to disappoint you but it is a captive bit knife.
ReplyDeletePeter you do plan on making a few thousand of the new captive bit knives, right???????? Peter i did want to ask you,is your area 51 website going to be used anymore??
ReplyDeleteHey Peter,
ReplyDeletewow you have been busy I like the sound of all the upcoming items : ) and I cant wait to see some photos of the new cutting edged tool with the captive bit, it already sounds like a classic Atwood piece.
Keep up the good work Peter I appreciate all your effort.

A brand new cutting edge tool with a captive bit. Best of both worlds. Sounds like a winner to me!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a ton of stuff in the works. Hopefully this will give everyone who wants a tool the chance to grab something. Glad to see the "basics" like the Area 51 Keyton are making a return too.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the sharkbite variant and the new captive bit knife!
Thanks for letting us know what is coming up! Very helpful! Us addicts need our fix! Nice to know what it is going to be...
ReplyDeleteyes a cutting edge!!!!!!! peter you need to stop making new stuf my bank account and my stress cant keep up! lol To buy or not to buy that is the question?
ReplyDeleteHuh? "O-rings are the devils work and the bane of life itself". I take it you don't like flashlights to be water-proof? Your car has them all over the place. Scuba tanks- no o-rings- fffsssszzzzssssss- no air. All the pluming in your house (you DO have plumbing?) has o-rings. What on earth are you talking about?!?!? :0
ReplyDeletePeter, great news. Can't buy too much (tax time!!) but it is fun to see what's new. Hope the shop's staying warm! Springs around the corner.
you had me at cutting edge. Just bring enough for the class.
ReplyDeleteHI Peter,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the constant updates in this blog. I look forward to holding and using one of your beauties in the weeks to come.

I'm celebrating- a cutting edge!!! Maybe we followers of all things Atwood should start a lottery on the likelihood we'll get one!!!! (meant as a complement!) Good news Peter!!! Stay warm. :)
ReplyDeleteA captive bit knife?
ReplyDeleteOOOH!!!! ME WANT!
I'm excited about the A51 Keytons. I hope I can grab a crawdaddy this time too.
ReplyDeleteAny chance we'll see BugBites that aren't anodized?
ReplyDeleteHow about titanium in stonewashed finish?
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing some of the new stuff...but what I really want is an A51 keyton :)
ReplyDeleteI hope I'm lucky enough to not miss out on the next release...
The Keytons that are coming are going to be basic ones. The stock is too thick to grind the extra two pry/screwdriver tips. So they will have a main grind with two accent grinds and that will be it. I have four dozen this batch but will have more in a future round. These were ground yesterday and headed to heat treat soon...
ReplyDeleteOne request.....satin finish on something; anything! :D
ReplyDeleteI rather you go back to your old days... AND MAKE KNIVES!!!
ReplyDeletePeter,Any chance we'll see a return of the Mini Son of Prything? Really need one!
