Making a Kydex Sheath

Here's a 5 minute clip of the steps involved in making a kydex knife sheath. Had a lot of fun making this one and fiddling around with the editing software.

I think these "videos" are great. the more I see of them, the more I realise the amount of work that goes into making these tool.

What impreses me more is all the kit/equipment you need to make it.!

The most unbelievable thing is how, after all this work you can charge such great prices.!

    Keep up the great work.!

  6. I'm stunned by the equipment you use...

I'm still confused though, the blade of that skeeter (I'm assuming) is wider than the handle. How do you get it sheathed if that's the case?

I'll try to guess here: Is it because the kydex sheath isn't exactly a perfect fit? So it leaves some room for wiggling?

  7. It's a Ghoul.

The blade is wider than the handle, you are correct. There's room for it to slip in, trust me. :)

  10. I really enjoyed your kydex sheath making video. What is the padding material used inside the press?
Great site, awesome and innovative tools.

  11. Material inside the press is a high density foam, kinda like one of those gardening pads that you kneel on.
